Join Light Mission Alliance for the 2026 LIMA Tembeathon Walk-a-Thon, a worldwide virtual event where every step helps create opportunity, independence, and a brighter future for students in Lucky Summer, Kenya.

This year, we’re walking with one big goal:

Raise enough funds to cover one full year of operating costs for the Lucky Summer Tailoring School.

The tailoring school equips students with practical skills they can use to earn an income, support their families, and build a more secure future. By participating in the Tembeathon, you’re helping make that training possible.

How It Works

Join & Walk
Register for the Tembeathon, pay your entry fee, and choose where and how far you’d like to walk. Since the event is completely virtual, you can participate from your neighborhood, a local park, a walking trail, a treadmill—or anywhere else in the world.

Get Sponsors
Invite friends, family members, coworkers, church members, and others in your community to sponsor you for every mile you walk.

Change Lives
Every step you take and every dollar raised helps provide students in Lucky Summer with valuable tailoring skills and the opportunity to create a better future for themselves and their families.

Report Your Mileage
Once you register, we’ll send a link for you to report your mileage after the Tembeathon and tell us who your sponsors are. It’s as easy as that!

One Year. One Future.

Our goal is bigger than completing a walk. Together, we want to provide an entire year of support for the tailoring school so its students can continue learning, growing, and preparing for sustainable employment.

Whether you walk one mile or ten, participate by yourself or gather a group to walk with you, your involvement matters.
